Having now used Applaws Natural Complete cat food for the past six months I thought that I would let you know how
it has been recieved bt the cats in our cattery.
As you know our cattery is very busy, with over 1000 cats coming into our care each year. These cats are ot always
in the best condition when they arrive; some have been victims of cruelty, some are strays that have lost their way
and become emaciated, some have been involved in road trafic accidents, or are pregnant queens, some just suffer
with anxiety and the stress of the ordeal of coming into the cattery environment.
It is important to Woodside Animal Centre, that we provide the very best for all the animals that com into our care.
Having used Applaws wet food in the cattery; we knew that the cats flourished when fed it, so we were hoping to get
the same results with the complete food. I have to say we have not been disappointed, 99% of the cats eat the dry
biscuits with gusto. The emaciated cats gain weight at a steady rate, the condition of their coats seems to inprove
and the cats are contented with their food.
I have even put my own four cats on to Applaws complete. They adore it, and have thick, glossy coats and nice healthy
teeth. Even Charlie (my 9 year old moggy) who has always suffered from fur balls (even when on a diet to prevent them)
has had less of a problem this year.
I am looking forward to the launch of the Applaws complete dog food, if it's as good as the cat, then I'm happy to
try it in the kennels.

Our lot absolutely loved it. I tested it against their favourite Lamb JWB (which they don't get all the time as the Turkey one is their staple) and they definitely seemed to prefer it. I have never seen biscuits disappear so quickly - must order some asap.

I put down 6 bowls of biscuits for them 3 contained Applaws and the other 3 their usual Orijen - funny old thing I have still got 3 bowls of Orijen left.......it has got a resounding thumbs up from my lot - only problem is I still have 3 x 7kg bags of Orijen for them to get through before they can start on it.

Put one bowl of RC down and then the free sample of the Applaws dry and my lot couldn't get enough of it...I'll see what comes out the other end tomorrow and then I shall start to convert them all Well done Roger!

I have to say, that the only dried food that I have ever given my Meezers is Royal Canin...They love it. I have so many Meezers that I'm reluctant to buy something that they wont eat....The Applaws wet food they absolutely adore. And the have that once a week as a treat. However I took advantage of the Free sample of the dried Applaws....and I kid you not, they were all growling and jumping over one another to get at it. They 'Wolfed' it down in seconds, some not getting a sniff of it never mind a taste.
I recommend it to anyone who has cats.

“A litter of four kittens were found dumped in a cardboard box at the gates of the RSPCA Leicester Branch early one morning. As soon as we opened the box it was evident the kittens were extremely poorly by the amount of diarrhoea that was in the box. They were cleaned up and taken straight to the nearest vets who prescribed a course of antibiotics to last for 5 days and recommended they be fed on a prescription diet.
After the course of antibiotics had finished there was a slight improvement but they were still not well enough to go to new homes. We tried feeding various kinds of kitten food (small amounts six times a day) which they ate quite happily, but sadly none of the varieties suited their delicate tummies.
After another 10 days we were still no further forward in solving their problem. This is when we tried Applaws Dry Kitten food. Again they all ate quite happily and after 3 days all four kittens were producing solid stools. They all went from strength to strength on Applaws Dry. They gained weight and their coats came back into condition. Within a week you would have hardly known that these kittens had been so poorly. Finally they were all ready to go to their new homes.”

My kittens were fed on the Applaws kitten range. Applaws certainly provided all the calories required for healthy growth. I would certainly recommend Applaws kitten wet & dry to any breeder of large breed kittens.
